rinettenia: Hello! I was wondering if you were able to make a recommendation for first time make-up users. There's just so much out there that I have no idea what to start with. What brands did you start with? How did start?

Hmm..I think it all depends what you want to dive into though. Do you want to play up your eyes, lips or the skin? Or all three? 

I definitely recommend first time makeup users to pick up products you’re interested in at the drugstore. It’s a much cheaper alternative as opposed to high end makeup, especially if you don’t know where to begin. You can always buy something from a drugstore and play around with it. Plus, some products from the drugstore are of pretty good quality :D ! 

I started with drugstore makeup and still love drugstore stuff! I bought an eyeshadow I thought was pretty and then mascara…and then blush and then lipcolors lol I started off with Covergirl, Maybelline….etc I used to be more into playing up my eyes…so I bought pencil eyeliner, an eyeshadow, a mascara. But now I love blushes and lipsticks!

I definitely recommend to try out E.L.F products (you can find them at Target). Most of their products are either $1 or $3 and some are super good (their blushes and brushes), but some are bad, so you’ll have to do your research online.

I think all in all, it really depends what you’re interested in putting on (mascara, foundation or eyeliner or just lip color). Then I’d go look up reviews before you buy anything just to make sure you don’t buy a horrible product.
